February: Nevil Shute's great grandfather Nevell Norway, who was a Cornwall ship owner, is murdered by 2 farm labourers. At about the same time, Nevell Norway's brother, far away on a ship, dreams of his brother's murder in considerable detail and, having had his dream recorded in the ship's log by the captain, returns to find the dream was true.
Paranormal events are later described in several of Shute's novels. |
