John Anderson
Vice President and Chief Researcher.

John has been an enthusiast for the novels of Nevil Shute since his teens.

He is a Chartered Engineer and also has a degree in the History of Science and Technology.

He attended the Conferences in Southsea, Cape Cod and Alice Springs.

With other UK Shutists, he has been actively researching Shute's life and work and has written a number of articles on this.

He joined the Foundation Board in 2005 as Chief Researcher, and is still pursuing research activities, as well as working with the Yorkshire Air Museum on a permanent exhibition on Shute's life and work.

He was Manager for the UK 2009 Conference in York in July 2009.

John is married with one daughter and lives in Cheshire in the North West of England.
